It's an asymmetric world

Here are some of packages that can be installed using the PEAR package manager. Just download them and then execute:

# pear install Name_Of_Package-X.Y.Z.tgz

 

Be aware that these packages have been packed using version 2.0 of PEAR package.xml, so you will need a PEAR version 1.4.0 or newer to install them.

Alternatively you can install them directly from this server using:

# pear install \
  http://www.castagnetto.com/pear/Name_Of_Package-X.Y.Z.tgz

Using the direct URL, you can also get the .tar version of the packages, just replace .tgz for .tar in the example above.

 

Most of this code "works for me", and should not be considered suitable to be used in a deployed, production server.
